At first, the national park bus will take us to the Schwußner Hütte hut.
From there we will embark on our mountain tour with a hike through a mystical virgin mountain forest. Only the national park rangers know the way. They will guide you on this unique wilderness trail that meanders along the untamed Seebach river, leading you deeper and deeper into the wilderness of the national park, where you will be able to watch the animals that live in the Seebachtal valley. At the end of the tour, you will be rewarded with culinary Carinthian specialties at the Schwußner Hütte hut.
Highlights:
In the Seebachtal valley in the area of Mallnitz, you can experience the pristine nature of the Hohe Tauern National Park at first hand: virgin mountain forests, bearded vultures, the largest chamois population of the national park and a breath-taking landscape with waterfalls and rock faces that resemble Californian dimensions. An absolutely unique wilderness trail.
