Learning from nature

There are bookable workshops in the "rangerlabs" with the motto "learning from nature". The "rangerlabs" are researcher workshops where research, experiments and tests are conducted together with our national park rangers.

  • The ‘rangerlabs’ workshops offer three exciting topics:

    "inspiration nature"

    "concrete climate"

    "herbs" 

     

    Experience Workshops in one of the rangerlabs are available on set dates every Tuesday and Friday in the summer  months. They can also be booked by individual participants and families. Registration by 4 pm the previous day is required.

    Exciting workshops with our Rangers for you and your family on topics such as Climate, Bionics or Herbs.

    This programme is free of charge for holders of the National Park Carinthia Card (please note: this only applies to the NPCC, not the Carinthia Card).

  • Arriving by train

    Destination station: Mallnitz; information at: www.oebb.at

    Arriving by car

    From Salzburg: A10 heading south, take the Werfen exit on to the B311 to Zell am See. From there, drive approx. 20 km on the federal road to Badgastein-Böckstein – you can take the motorail from there to Mallnitz.

    Alternatively: A10 to Spittal a. d. Drau, from there take the E66, then the B106 and finally the B105 to reach Mallnitz. (Tauerntunnel: Subject to toll!)

    From Vienna: Take the A2 to Villach, then back north on the A10. In Spittal a. d. Drau, take the E66, then the B106 and finally the B105 to reach Mallnitz.
