    • "univerzoom nationalpark"

      In the completely redesigned exhibition "univerzoom nationalpark", you can get to the bottom of all the secrets of nature in the national park. Whether it is an animated landslide, mysterious wilderness or rich wildlife – numerous experience stations steal the curious of all ages into the wonderful world of the Hohe Tauern region. This means a visit is the perfect introduction to everything you can expect in the great outdoors.

      mid-April to mid-October
      Daily 10:00–18:00

      Conditions/Prices:
      The exhibition is free of charge.

      The visitor centre in Mallnitz was awarded as the first training centre in Carinthia with the "Austrian Environmental Certificate for Training Facilities" in 2012.

    • Arriving by train

      Destination station: Mallnitz
      Information at: www.oebb.at

       

      Arriving by car

      From Salzburg: A10 heading south, take the Werfen exit on to the B 311 to Zell am See. From there, drive approx. 20 km on the federal road to Badgastein-Böckstein – you can take the motorail from there to Mallnitz.

      Alternatively: Take the A10 to Spittal a. d. Drau, from there the E66, then B106 and then the B105 over to Mallnitz. (Tauerntunnel: Subject to toll!)

      From Vienna: Take the A2 to Villach, then back north on the A10. In Spittal a. d. Drau, take the E66, then the B106 and finally the B105 to reach Mallnitz.
