The information centre – at the foot of the Grossglockner - provides on over 300 sq. m comprehensive information for budding naturalists as well as tourists about the Hohe Tauern National Park and the entire national park holiday region. A cinema with HD projection and Dolby Surround Sound presents magnificent impressions from the Hohe Tauern National Park. Terminals with touchscreens provide information about the largest national park in the Alps.
More special features
The Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe attracts 1,5 million visitors every year. The view of the Grossglockner (Austria's highest mountain) and the Pasterze (largest glacier in the Eastern Alps) along with the Grossglockner High Alpine Road astounds visitors.
