  • Visitors can marvel at a true Hohe Tauern treasure trove, as this exhibition shows beautiful crystal treasures known for their rarity and uniqueness. In addition to the wide range of gemstones you can also visit the exhibition, "People and culture".

The province of Salzburg impresses with a large variety of minerals – due to a complex geological situation. Emeralds, rock crystal, fluorite, titanite, adularia, epidote – there are so many minerals in such a small area. The minerals originated in complicated processes over a period of millions of years in so-called tears (rock crystal, adularia, fluorite, etc.), or are formed in the rock (emerald, pyrite, actinolite, etc.). Erosion processes push the minerals to the Earth's surface.

Take your time and immerse yourself in the world of minerals and learn about the tradition of the "Stoasuacher".

The National Park exhibition "Emeralds and Crystals" is located in the basement of the Bramberg Museum.
