    • The visitor and information centre "Glocknerwinkel" with its panoramic view of Austrian highest mountain -  the Großglockner was rebuilt in 2017. Not only can visitors expect stunning views of the Grossglockner as it towers over the Ködnitztal (Ködnitz valley) but also an exhibition about the Grossglockner and the national park's Big Five who live in this habitat.

With a bit of luck and under expert guidance, you may even be able to see marmots, chamois, ibex, golden eagles and bearded vultures through the binoculars provided (Swarovski test centre) in the visitor centre for yourself. A themed trail starts at the visitor centre "Glocknerspuren – BergeDenken“.
