Trail description:
This walk starts at the car park at the Talwirt inn. The path first goes past the farmhouse Bauernhof Stockham, the Alte Seegut, a deer park and then continues through the meadows and pastures around the head of the valley to "Hüttschlag See" (Hüttschlag lake). Close to the bridge that crosses the river here, you will find a naturally occurring Kneipp pool with public barbecue area. Only a few metres beyond the Kneipp pool, a second path branches off for Ötzlsee (Ötzl lake).
The path continues up hill and down dale (caution: the path is slippery and wet in places: sturdy footwear is essential.) always next to the stream into the idyllic Schödertal. Just before you reach Schödersee (Schöder lake), you will see an old, small hunting lodge on the left. Then you will reach Schödersee (Schöder lake).
