    • Trail description:

The Obersulzbachtal (Obersulzbach valley) glacier trail is an interesting nature trail against the back drop of the Obersulzbach Kees glacier with protruding moraines and glacial striations. The magnificent view from the glacier path to the western side of the Grossvenediger mountain to the Kitzbühel Alps is worth seeing. The 20 marked stops on the glacier path are numbered and described in the accompanying booklet "Gletscherweg Obersulzbachtal" (only available in German).

The glacier trail starts close to the Obersulzbachhütte (Obersulzbach hut) (1,742 m) and takes you past the head of the Obersulzbach Kees glacier to its current foot. A natural history guide issued by the Austrian Alpine Club provides interesting information about the 18 stations of the three-kilometre long trail.
