Nationalpark Hohe Tauern

  • The Großglockner High Alpine Road is one of the most impressive and most beautiful scenic and panoramic roads in Europe. A drive on this road by car or motorbike will evoke an extraordinary pleasure of driving. The Glocknerbus is another, perhaps more relaxing option for a ride on the High Alpine Road. From 6 different points of departure, state-of-the-art tour buses will take you to the incomparable mountain experience world in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The ride will be accompanied by an experienced and expert national park ranger. The bus will make several stops along the way, where the ranger will share interesting information about the fauna and flora of the Hohe Tauern National Park. With a bit of luck, we will even see ibex and marmots on the way to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe, where a spectacular view of the Pasterze glacier and Mt. Großglockner, the highest mountain of Austria, awaits you.
