Route Description:
Starting from the Hopffeldboden parking lot (1,067 m), hikers follow the track (No. 914) for about 50 minutes in the direction of Berndlalm. Shortly before a bridge, trail No. 18 branches off to the left, ascending to Seebachalm. The path climbs steeply in switchbacks.
Along the way, several informational signs highlight unique natural features.
At Seebachalm, the most challenging part of the hike is complete. Following the Seebach stream, the trail continues across alpine meadows to the hike’s destination: the Seebachsee, located at an elevation of 2,083 m.
For the return trip, you can descend via the "Munau," a wet meadow rich in orchids, to Poschalm. From Poschalm, a track leads back over Berndlalm (1,514 m) to the starting point of the hike.
