  • Description:

    The educational trail "In All Its Facets – Reading Landscapes" in the Seidlwinkl Valley is a recent addition to the engaging exhibition "In All Its Facets" in Rauris.

    This new themed trail, stretching from Gollehenalm to the Rauriser Tauernhaus, invites hikers to consciously observe their surroundings using various criteria and to search for clues along the way that reveal fascinating insights. Informative panels along the route provide details about alpine farming, wildlife, and water systems in the Rauris Valley.

    Visitors can experience the described habitats and animal species in their natural settings, exploring the rich diversity of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

    Note:
    The Seidlwinkl Valley is closed in winter due to snow conditions and avalanche risks.

  • 1. Arrival by Car

    From Salzburg:
    Follow the A10 Tauern Autobahn southbound to the Bischofshofen exit. Continue on the B311 towards Zell am See, then head towards Rauris.

    From Innsbruck:
    Take the A12 Inntal Autobahn and switch to the B178 at Wörgl, heading towards Lofer. From Lofer, continue on the B311 towards Zell am See, and finally to Rauris.

    In Rauris:
    Drive into the Seidlwinkl Valley, following the signs for Rauriser Tauernhaus and Seidlwinkltal. The Fleckweide parking lot is at the end of the road in the valley. The road is narrow in parts and passes through beautiful alpine landscapes. Note that it is a toll road (fee approx. 7-10 Euros, depending on the season).
    Once you arrive at the Fleckweide parking lot, you can start your hike from there.

    2. Arrival by Public Transport

    Take bus line 640 towards Rauris town. During the hiking season, shuttle buses are available to the Seidlwinkltal. For more information on the hiking bus, refer to the Tälerbus_S.pdf .
