Trail description:
The nature trail starts directly next to the toll station at the Falleralm restaurant. The easy, around two-hour hike takes you along the Malta for approx. 5 km into the valley. During the hike, you will enjoy impressive views of Malta, rivers and waterfalls. The conclusion of the 18 stops comes in the idyllic "Blaue Tumpf" in Schönau. You should allow for about 1.5 hours for the return walk.

The Malteiner Wasserspiele waterfall nature trail runs into the impressive gorge and waterfall landscape at the rear of the Maltatal (Malta valley). Specially created viewing platforms provide magnificent views particularly of the deep blue "Tümpfe" and the highest waterfall in Carinthia, the Melnikfall.
