Description:
The Weißsee Glacier World is a paradise for hikers and offers breathtaking views. Hikers can explore trails around the Grünsee middle station, at the Weißsee near the Berghotel Rudolfshütte, or at the Medelz viewing plateau at 2,600 meters above sea level. From here, a vast panorama unfolds, stretching all the way to the famous Dorfertal and Kals am Großglockner.
There are over 40 kilometers of marked hiking trails, reaching up to nearly 3,000 meters in altitude. These include fascinating glacier trails and alpine crossings. Mountain experts can look forward to varied guided high-altitude glacier tours.
